Today, our team begins the journey home from Peru. We started the morning with one more worship service at Iglesia Vida Nueva Sol de La Molina, where we enjoyed fellowship with many of the friends who have become so special to us during the past two weeks. At the conclusion of the service, our team sang “Only a Holy God,” and Madison LeBeuf shared the song “Follow” as special music. It was a meaningful way to close our time of ministry together and reflect on the faithfulness of the God we came to serve.

After church, we enjoyed a picnic-style lunch in a beautiful outdoor setting. Throughout our trip, the team has appreciated the opportunity to explore several different areas of Lima and Cusco. From busy city streets and coastal views to the mountains and historic sites of the Sacred Valley, we have been continually reminded of the beauty and diversity of Peru.

The afternoon was spent packing suitcases, preparing for travel, and saying many difficult goodbyes to the families and friends who have hosted us, transported us, translated for us, served alongside us, and cared for our team so generously. It is always bittersweet to leave people who have become dear friends in such a short time. Although we do not know when we may see one another again on earth, our shared hope in Christ reminds us that every goodbye between believers is temporary. We look forward to the day when all who know Christ will be reunited in Heaven.

Our flight from Lima is scheduled to depart shortly before midnight and arrive in Miami tomorrow morning around 6:00. From there, team members will continue on connecting flights and begin traveling back to their homes and families.

Please pray for safe, smooth flights, timely connections, and strength for the long journey ahead. We are deeply grateful for everyone who has prayed for our team throughout this trip. God has protected us, provided for us, and given us many opportunities to serve, learn, and grow. We leave Peru with full hearts, cherished memories, and sincere gratitude for all that God has done.
