La Molina Christian School

Our Philosophy of Education
La Molina Christian Schools provides a Christ-centered education with the Bible as its philosophical foundation. The universe and everything that exists in it were created by God, who is the Sovereign Lord. The supreme purpose of human beings is to glorify God and enjoy a personal relationship with Him forever.

We hold that the Bible is inspired and that it thoroughly equips us for every good work (2 Timothy 3:16-17); it is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness. Therefore, the education we offer is based on the premise that all truth in the universe is God’s truth and that human beings can access, study and cling to that truth (John 8:32).

Serving in Surco, Peru

I am grateful that God has led me to teach English in Surco, Peru, on the northern side of Lima. This year, I am teaching 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade at Pioneer Christian School.  Additionally, God has allowed me to serve Him by teaching children’s church on Sundays at my local church. From time to time, I have the opportunity to travel to various cities in Peru on mission trips. Please pray that God will continue to use my life to be a light for Him in my school, church, and community.

Pioneer Christian School

Pioneer Christian School is a ministry of Grace Baptist Church. We are an institution that has been serving God and our society for more than 35 years. We provide an education based on the Word of God and founded on our Lord Jesus Christ.

Our institution was founded on the biblical principle of “Go into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” Mark 16:15. We carry this out through:

  • Devotionals, memory verses, and prayer at the beginning of every school day.
  • Weekly chapels where we share the Word of God on different levels.
  • Personal and group counseling.
  • School Retreat: Junior high and high school.
  • Mission trips to different places in Peru with the students, alumni, and teachers  .
  • Christmas evangelistic outreaches in different churches on the outskirts of Lima.

By the grace of God, I grew up in an amazing, supportive, conservative Christian home. He saved me at age seven. By the grace of God, I had the privilege of a Christian education all the way from kindergarten to my Master’s Degree and was able to start Spanish classes in ninth grade. By the grace of God, my home church and family championed missions. My dad created over 100 missionary websites, and we always went to church early to help the missionaries set up their displays. By the grace of God, between my eighth and ninth grade years, He sent a Baptist Mid -Missions missionary from Perú to my church to preach. God called me to missions that night. By the grace of God, in 2008, after a year of deputation and 4 months of language school, He provided all my support and placed me on the BMM Cusco Team to serve Him. By the grace of God, since then, I have had the privilege of working with New Life Baptist Church, OANSA Kids’ Club, and our Bible institute in Urubamba. By the grace of God, I am sharing God’s love in Perú.
