Dr. Carlos Alvarez
Dr. Carlos Alvarez serves on the science faculty at Pensacola Christian College. A native of Peru, he has long had an evangelistic heart for his home country and all of Latin America. Starting in 2013 with a missions trip to Peru, he has since led several other Youth Outreach Ministry teams reaching beyond Peru to take teams to Bolivia, Chile, Ecuador, and Spain. Besides establishing contacts and finding opportunities for evangelism and discipleship in schools and churches, he has been instrumental in recruiting and training other YOM leaders and team members for missions trips to Latin America.
Miss Laura Snider
Miss Laura Snider serves on the education faculty at Pensacola Christian College. She began teaching elementary in 1993 at Pensacola Christian Academy. She then taught various grades from K–3 through high school electives in Kentucky and North Carolina. Miss Snider has a heart for missions and has gone on several mission trips. One such trip led her to serve for a year in a Christian school in Peru. Miss Snider has a BS and MS in elementary education. She is currently working to complete her Ed. D in Secondary Education.
